Rippoff Artists. My 23 year old son's truck was towed from a restricted parking lot (condo. complex next to UCA campus) last spring during finals while he watched. He was told if he could come up with $200 cash, they would discontinue the process. Really? The truck was towed down the street and impounded for only a few hours and $395 later, we were able to get it out. Part of the fee included $55 to unlock the vehicle to release the emergency brake. The brake was never on and my son unlocked the truck for them so he could get his things out. Ripoff artists!

Excellent Company! I would Recomend to Anyone!. They were quick to respond to rescuing me when my BMW failed to start due to a bad battery.

Explanation of Rates and Services. Helton's Wrecker Service has apparently upset a few folks. These people are neglecting to mention the reason behind why their vehicles were towed... We tow for each of the Police Agencies in Faulkner County and for several property owners who have established tow-away-zones. The rates we charge are established by these agencies and charged accordingly. Each of the reviews below were people who violated a property owner's tow-away policy or were arrested and had their vehicle impounded by a local Police Agency. They feel they should not have to pay to recover their vehicle, thus, we should not be compensated for our services. We don't seek out these customers and shouldn't be persecuted for the circumstances in which they find themselves.

Conway Crooks 4 Hire. These people towed my daughter's car 1-1/2 miles away from UCA, where she attends, and stole $335.00 (cash only) from her to get her car back! Must be nice to do so little work and get paid so much and from a college student nonetheless! She has been real sick and was starting to get better, but cried so much out of shock and desperation and asked to talk to the owner. He refused to speak with her, but from what I read in the reviews, I am glad he didn't show his face to her. She now has a bad fever again. Her doctor and I thank you, Helton's Wrecker for creating your own little bit of hell here on earth! Better Business Bureau will be notified of this highway robbery! The news needs to be informed as well. Too many bad business practices and robbery going on here.

The worst wrecker ever. This wrecker service backed a car out of the road, and wanted to charge $75.00. Then demanned money while I was on the phone with the insurance company. I ask him to please give me a min, and I was finding out how the insurance company wanted me to handle it. He then hooked the car up to the wrecker before I could get off the phone. Went stole the keys out of the car and placed them in his pocket. Ran over to the cop and said I refused to pay. Which I was still on the phone. We told him 5 or more time that we had a wrecker about to arrive and we did not want him to take the car. He then demanded that he was taking the car. Then our wrecker showed up and tried to pay the fees to unhook the car. Helton's refused payment from them, refused credit card, refused check, refused debit card. With in 10 mins the Price went from $75.00 to $151.63 and he never once moved the car an inch. He would only take cash from the girl driving the car in the wreck. Which he was not called to the accident by us. He talked to all of the girls like we might have been dirt on his feet. The other wrecker service even said something to him about the way he was talking to us and treating women. He then mouth off very dirty language to the other wrecker service. While he was unhooking the car he dropped it to the ground and almost took the bumper off, being very rough with it.

He was a bully, talked trashy, found a way to make a quick $151.63, took advantage, and a lier!

Horrible lying scumbags. DO NOT USE ANY OF THE HELTON FAMILY BUSINESSES IN THE CONWAY AREA. THEY SHOULD ALL BE IN JAIL CONSIDERING HOW MANY PEOPLE IN CONWAY THAT THEY HAVE RIPPED OFF. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST BUNCH OF LIARS AND THEIVES I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND NOT THEIR CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION. BILL HELTON IS A WASTE OF SKIN HAS HIS PICTURE NEXT TO THE WORD "SCUMBAG" IN THE DICTONARY.

liar. every time we talked to bill helton it was a new lie and and a new story as to why it was not fixed ,this went on for seven week's steer clear of this shop they are not very professional . they are part's changer's they started replacing part's till they found the problem

$650.00 dollar's later and$520.00 in labor they were a rip off !

Nicest people. I don't know what the other guy was thinking but the owner was awsome. He was very nice and helped me calm down after the problems started with my truck. He was highly recommended by everybody at UCA. And everybody knows him personally. I though Bill was Awsome. No problems what so ever!!!

Pathetic Service. The owner Bill is very hateful and simply doesnt care about his customers. They cost me 6 hrs of additional time and $300 on top of the already $351 I already paid. Bill Helton, told ME to fix it. They're wiring technicians obviously have no liscensing and have no idea what they're doing. I ended up doing the work. They not only caused shorts in my car lighting, but gauge clusters. Bill Helton offered NO APOLOGIES and simply said I NEEDED TO FIX IT.

In short, I recommend Heltons Wrecker service to NO ONE. Unless you want to be treated poorly, overcharged, lied too and be very dissatisfied.
