Be very careful who you let touch your eyes.
I wrote a review earlier--this is more like an update.
After Dr Roy was careless enough to leave debris in my wifes eye, she had to have surgery to remove the debris which had irritated her cornea causing it to swell and blocked her vision.
This still did not restore her vision and she had to have a partial cornea transplant and is still trying to recover her vision after that surgery...AND get this ! Lawyers won't touch him for medical negligence !!
I would NOT allow him to operate on my dogs eye even if I didn't like my dog...
Warning - Dr. Roy is not contracted with Health Advantage.
I had 3 visits with Dr. Roy and Dr. Roy's staff never told me that they weren't contracted with Health Advantage. When I gave them my Health Advantage card, they only charged the co-pay and then I found out later from my insurance that I had to pay the entire amount charged for all 3 visits since Dr. Roy is out of network. I realize I should have verified that Dr. Roy was contracted with Health Advantage prior to my office visits, but I also feel that his office should have notified me that he wasn't contracted with my insurance. Other than the insurance issue which is a big deal for me, he provided good medical service.
