Little Rock Family Dental

Beware of Dr. Machen and this practice. I was referred to Dr. Machen by a trusted friend. My entire family was booked to see him when we moved to Little Rock and needed dental work. I have never given a medical professional a bad review, even verbally, but this practice and this doctor are terrible. My husband refused to even return for his follow up procedure. Dr. Machen neglects his patients and his assistants are really the only ones paying attention to your charts. There is not enough space or time to list all of his neglect with respect to each member of my family. His front staff, although nice, are very disorganized. Your teeth are very important (and very expensive!) to your overall health. Please don't make the mistake we made. I can only assume that he must take many dental insurance plans to keep his doors open. For those paying cash, run away. For those with dental plans, find someone else who will take yours.…

Malpractice. I am a former pediatric patient of Dr. Machen. His neglect in caring for my teeth led me to have extreme decay by the time I sought out a new dentist. Hester at the time was my orthodontist. I found a new orthodontist after approximately 6 years of braces and needed to start from scratch (about 2+ more years).

During the time I saw Machen, he never alerted me to any decay. His neglect has led to the permanent damage of my teeth from early adulthood.

I would recommend using any other dentist in Little Rock.…
