LOVE the patio!
by ssrhodes
While recently visiting Little Rock, Julies was a friendly, fantastic retreat. The food was delicious and the portions were enough for two to share. My favorite spot was the beautiful outdoor patio under the shade of a tree with music playing in the background. Even if you're not a smoker, this is the place to dine!
- Pros: Service, atmosphere, menu, price
- Cons: Not enough time to try everything!
Perfect for date night or just a quiet drink after work -- The bar is only for grownups! (that's the over 30 crowd)

Julie's is one of my favorite restaurants in Little Rock. The service is prompt and friendly. I'm usually in the bar with friends once a month. They serve their full menu in the bar and you aren't getting in the way of the 'family' crowd. The menu is updated regularly and it always has something different from anywhere else. I've eaten several of their seafood dishes and I've never been disapointed. (the Talipia is my favorite) At lunch, the Ranch Chicken Wrap is a heavenly diet cheat (I always get the fries). The Angus burger is more than one person can eat! Their happy hours are very casual with a full bar and their drink prices are reasonable. If you're over 40, this is your place to hang out with friends after work. Julie's has a brand new patio open out back and it's very spiffy!
- Pros: comfortable great drink selection happy wait staff
Promises unmet!

Looks like a great place when you drive up. Then the menu arrives and it's a throw back to the '80's. The drinks were good, but the food is little better than going to Bennigan's or similar. Basic chain fare presented with little decoration. The atmosphere is pleasant enough, but nothing special. This could be a lovely Steak and Seafood restaurant as it looks like it was at one time. For a good basic meal it is fine, but for anything more it just doesn't acheive it.
- Pros: atmosphere
- Cons: menu selection, service
