Good variety, good food. If you like meat, and plenty of it, this is the place. Good brisket, catfish, ribs, burgers and more. Highly recommended.

Who is cooking?. The restaurant would be great other than the food. It's just really bad.

just o.k.. i find it hard to believe that shorty smalls gets rated as one of the best restaurants in little rock. don't get me wrong. it is fine if you like greasy, salty, but kind of tasty food. hardly the pinnacle of dining excellence. it is fine for a quick outing with friends, and it serves up very edible grub in a hurry. i'd say it is maybe just a notch above chili's for about the same price. avoid the fried cheese logs that are about as big around as my wrist - unless of course you are into clogged arteries.
