Not a good experience, I would not recommend Longing Rentals. Beth and Steve Longing give the impression that they have an upscale apartment complex with a quiet atmosphere and the security, services, and amenities one would expect for the price of the apartments. THIS IS UNTRUE. They are dishonest, shady, rude, and you will regret renting from them.

When I signed my lease I was told the date I could move in. They kept pushing back the date by nearly a month, and eventually increased the price of my rent.

They said that the enclosed hallways were cleaned regularly by a maid, but they were untouched. They were filthy, covered in HUGE spiderwebs with dead insects trapped in them, and in the summer several wasp nests were in the hallway.

When I moved out, I asked to have my mail forwarded, but never received any. After a month, I called the office and asked if I had received any, and was told rudely that I had none and that they would have let me know if I did. I was asked to stop calling. The VERY next day, I received a call and was told very rudely that I had an enormous "pile" of mail at the office, in a manner that suggested I had never asked for it.

After over a month I received a notice in the mail detailing the deductions from my $425 deposit. It claimed that my apartment had a "strong pet and pet urine odor" and my ENTIRE deposit was forfeited. I did not have pets, but I still lost my entire deposit.

Please, for your own sake, DO NOT rent from Longing Rentals!
