Not impressed

I set up an appointment with Phillip AulenBack to look at & most likely buy a truck he had listed online. I asked him to call me if he sells it before the day we were to meet since I had a 30+ mile drive. On appointment day I found out that the truck had sold the day prior. Phillip seemed to have an excuse for everything. Unfortunately, the more he spoke the more we realized that he was lying. I finally asked to speak to the manager. A manager showed up several minutes later (after being pre-briefed by Phillip), he took the appropriate middle ground & actually placed appropriate blame on Phillip for not planning ahead. He never once offered anything to me for a wasted trip. I let the manager know how disappointed I was by not being called & that I had sold my other vehicle in anticipation of buying theirs. Since Phillip had no follow through I was without a vehicle. He offered to show me another brand truck, but it wasn't the brand I wanted, or want. When I realized that Landers didn't care they were about to lose a customer, I reached in my pocket & pulled out the several thousand dollars cash I brought to buy a vehicle. His affect changed rapidly & he became extremely helpful. He tried to track down another vehicle but after waiting around for over an hour he found nothing. Phillip came out to inform me that the manager would follow up with me later in the day. It is now 4pm, nothing...I can't see using Landers in the future unless they really do something to prove themselves.
