Always a happy camper at Payton Place Salon – This WOMAN who went into Payton Place and gave a bad reveiw does not know the whole story, nor does she care to know. I have been going to Payton Place for several years and I love it! I always look like a millon bucks. I went to my favorite girl "Gina" which is the bomb, yesterday, and we "lightened up" for the summer! Nothing but compliments and I even referred someone to her, because they loved my hair so much! Payton Place is a great salon with nothing but customer service in mind. They are the ones that turned me on to Aveada products and I will not use anything else on my hair, my face, and I use their makeup, because they had given me samples of the different products. Payton Place is a "full" service salon with nothing but YOU in mind and making you happy! I am always happy when I leave! Angela, Gina and all my girls, keep it up, I LOVE YOU!!!
Great Service – I have been going to Payton Place for several years. I have always been happy with the service or I would not have gone back. I am sorry about the person that wasn't happy but why did she go back 3 times? I think all of the staff are very professional and do all that they can do to please their clients. I high recommend anyone to give them a try. I think you will be very happy.
cutest cut ever, best service – I went to Payton Place Salon today for the first time to get a fresh new look. I walked in feeling frumpy, and walked out feeling like a million bucks. The people there are super sweet and listened to what I was wanting. My hair has never looked so good. Thanks Payton Place Staff for really out doing yourself. I will Be back!!!!!
Worst Hair Experience Ever – Well another Aveda salon in Little Rock - called "That French Salon" fit me in today and did a FANTASTIC job fixing my hair. Their stylist, atmosphere and mgmt were MUCH better than Payton. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND The French Salon if you are looking for a salon that cares about their clients.
Horrible Experience – In response to the salon's response. They did nothing to ensure my happiness. They did not allow me to come back in either time that my hair was messed up, even though I did not like it. I told them before I left both times that I did not like it, but she told me to go home and then come back if my feelings did not improve. I gave her a tip because even though she messed it up, I knew she was trying AND she said that they would fix it if I was still unhappy when I got home. Which was not true. Now I have to go to another salon and hope that they will be able to figure out what Payton Place did wrong. It is terrible and the owner made me feel like I did something wrong by coming back again after I did not like it the first time. There are only 3 Aveda salon's, so I thought I would try again and surely she would get it right. I am in sales and am grateful when people give me another chance....mistakes happen. The true test is what you do when a mistake happens. Obviously Payton does not think that they have any responsibility in pleasing their customers. If you don't like their work, they just send you away. I have never been treated so poorly. I am not in the habit of writting bad reviews. I am putting this information out on the web because I do not want anyone else to go through what I have. I hope this helps.
reply to laura's review – I am so sorry laura felt that she needed to go on the net and slam us as a business. without going into the whole story, there are some people in life that aren't going to be happy no matter what you do. we had figured out that we were not going to be able to please her and when we can't please a client, hopefully someone else can. so we thought after much effort, that it would be best to sever this relationship so she could move on and find happiness in another salon. we called her to let her know this and that we had given her a refund and that we would not be doing her hair anymore. I guess she didn't like that but we thought that was best for both parties. and just so you know, her hair really did look good when she left. she had asked for a half head of foils because she didn't want to pay for a whole head. so naturally the bottom would be darker than the top. she had requested her tip money back, which I thought was strange that you would tip if you hated your hair, but we were not responsible for that.
Worst Hair Experience Ever – I went in to Payton Salon because it was an Aveda salon and I thought that meant that the stylists were well trained. I went to this stylist 3 times. 1st time she did not listen to me at all and hardly put any highlights in. The 2nd time , when I was stuck in there for 5 hours, she made my hair darker than when I went in and when I called she told me to wash it a few times and that it would get better. I did and it was a little better, but not much. The 3rd time I had scheduled the appt for 5, but the day before they rescheduled for earlier because they had not scheduled enough time. I asked for my hair to be much lighter, but that I did not want it to look funny with the bottom dark and the top light. I ended up looking like a rocker with blonde at the top and dark on the bottom 3 inches. Horrible. When I asked them to fix it, they told me that they would refund my money (just for the 3rd hair style) but would not fix it. Horrible service!!!
be aware of clients who say they are going to sabbotage you on the internet. they will try their hardest. if they could only use that energy towards something of value.
