I recently moved to the Little Rock area and was in search of a new hairdresser. With so many choices in the phone book, I just picked one. I walked in and only had to wait a few minutes before a nice young lady was able to take me. As a senior, it is difficult to find someone who can do hair the old way; shampoo, set, tease and make it last for a week. This young lady did a great job and I will continue my weekly visits there as long as I am able to get there. Thank You....

The Best around. Having lived in many states and cities, I find it hard to locate a hairstylist that I am completely comfortable with. At A Design and Color Salon, I walked it the first time, sat down, told the stylist once what I liked and left totally overwhelmed. Never have I been TOTALLY satisifed on the first trip. THANK YOU to A Design and Color Salon. I am a client for life....

Worst service and haircut I have ever had!!

I have been going to design and color for 3 years. I usually get my hair done by a lovely lady named Precious. Unfortunately she was not there when I needed a hair cut and I decided to be spontaneous and have another lady cut my hair. I told her I wanted my hair to be the same length all the way around. For some reason, she did not understand what this meant. When I continued to explain how I want my hair to be the same length she huffed and puffed and continued to act like she knew what she was doing. Her conversation consisted mainly of her debating with me over the kind of hair cut that i preferred and making faces at the other hair stylist. I told her that I did not like my hair being longer in the back and I want it to be even with the rest of my hair. She still had no idea what this meant and continued to argue with me about me saying that is not what I asked for. This went on and on for an hour and she kept cutting my hair shorter and shorter but, somehow the back of my hair stayed longer. Out of faith in design and color I stayed. But, I will never ever go back there again. The end results is the lady messed up my hair, never apologized and the ending conversation was her saying that I was wrong and she was right. I have never been this peeved over a hair cut in my life! I would have been better off never going in there but, I know now I will never enter again....except to go and get my money back. You would be better off never going here too!
