I am not sure if you have ever heard of slander but it against the law! What you just wrote about me and my shop was A 100% LIE. First off I have NEVER even seen your dog much less groomed this dog! Second of all I DO keep recites of all the dogs I groom and if your dog was in my shop I have a written document stating this dog was in my shop on this day at this time. You see if you are going to accuse me of something you might want proof. I am not sure what your deal is but I will be talking to my lawyer about this posting. I have also copied this and sent to him in print. You know it's funny I have all these postings and comments from you saying if you want a great groomer go see my buddy Greg. Hmm funny...

The Worst Place for Your Dog!!!

The love of mine and my Girlfriends life is our dog Dixie. She was smelling and needing a trim. So we looked around town for a grooming place to find "The Shaggy Dog Pet Salon" in down town Benton.
We walked in to the very small shop and it was nicely designed and the groomer "Greg Sams" seemed to be friendly very smiling kind of person. Plus $30.00 seemed like a awesome price for a groom and bathe.
So we felt comfortable letting him groom our dog because Dixie is a Golden Lab and she's a pretty good size dog. Anyways we leave her there so we could run and do a few things around town and then come back.
We Got there and he wasn't there we waited for about an hour and finally he came back When we left we gave him a little bit of food and water for our dog and when we returned it wasn't even put down where she could get it. I then thought "He Might have been Busy or something" So I went ahead and paid him his money and left.
When I got home Is when it really struck a nerve with me I was petting Dixie and checking to see if she was okay because i was nervous letting someone groom my dog I didn't even know. Everything looked good, but every time I ran my hand across her side and belly she would moan a little. So after getting her to lay down I looked at her lower side and belly and there were marks where his clippers got down in to her flesh. They were the same exact scares you would get from the clippers he was using and it was halfway down her side and stomach. I called the Owner back and asked for a refund because of what happened and he told me nothing but a click he kept hanging up on me. So I tried going to his shop and he locks to door and wont answer.
He didn't give me a receipt for the grooming either So when i talked to my lawyer he said I had no evidence of me being there and I had no witness so it was Owner Vs Customer and Owners usually wins. So I left it alone.
Dixie is fine now and we found her a better grooming place. If your looking for a good place to take your dog to get groomed DON'T TAKE IT TO SHAGGY DOG PET SALON!!!! Please if you love your pet don't do it.
I highly recommend K-9 Splash and Dash in Bryant they are better priced and treat your dog like royalty like every Dog should. I really hope this was helpful for anyone who is looking at getting their dog groomed.
