Great Fish
by oji at Citysearch
The Bass was tender, and the white wine reduction and caper sauce surprisingly delicately flavored.
The sides also served on the same plate were a very different story. Soggy, over cooked, powerful and unpleasant flavors you only get after too many hours at too high a heat. All in all and a completely incongruent accompaniment to such a surprisingly well constructed fish and sauce.
My only recommendation is that they cook veg sides to order and try not to overcook everything in the afternoon and continue to serve it well after dark.
Good Food, Good Service...but....
by Deke at Citysearch
Every time I have eaten here, its been good. Service, while slow at times, is always professional.
Just beware of the reviews, two of them are from the owners, but please try this great restaurant out and form your own opinion.
- Pros: Steaks are great
- Cons: none to speak of
happy hour is perfect for business or pleasure!
by 1hawgsfan at Citysearch
The bartenders are fun and friendly, and there is a wide selection of spirits, beers on tap and in a bottle, and wine. The cheese dip is really good!
- Pros: great priced drinks/many options
- Cons: not as many food options during happy hour
GREAT FOOD WITH A COOL ATMOSPHERE
by JPinLR at Citysearch
Lunch options and prices are a real treat, southern themed plate lunches are super. The dinner atmosphere is just right - comfortable, casual with white table cloths that don't make it pretentious.
- Pros: Lunch prices are a great value and dinner rocks
Loco for Loca Luna!
by amyfrank at Citysearch
My husband and I frequent Loca Luna during the week because of the wine selection and the great menu! Try the Pork Osso Bucco when you go--it falls off the bone (which my dog later enjoys:). Also, the partio is great during nice weather--you feel like you're in an enchanted garden. We usually sleep in on the weekends, but recently were out early one Sunday and tried their brunch. Oh man, the crab cake benedicts were amazing!!!
- Pros: best brunch, bar, and atmosphere!
- Cons: On a busy, more parking would help
Great Atmosphere, Most Fun
by LRTmanAR at Citysearch
When the weather's nice, the patio is a great place to hang out during happy hour. The bar's not too shabby either when it's not too crowded. This is a great place for dates or entertaining clients, which I do often. Unlike some of the other hang outs in Little Rock, you can actually get decent food at affordable prices. Their pizzas are pretty good as well.
- Pros: Atmosphere, Patio, Great Bar
Distinctly Unimpressed
by ashford at Citysearch
Atmosphere was horrible. This place is a restaraunt and I couldn't even hold a conversation with my table it was so loud. Food had incredibly fancy names but was just normal with nothing special added. Came across to me as if they gave the fancy names as an excuse to charge higher prices. Menu included a long rant against the alcohol tax in Little Rock which I thought was a bit inappropriate.
A little disappointing

With all of the "Hoopla" involved with the name of this restaurant I always expected more than is delivered-there are better places to eat. In numerous trips there with co-workers and family, i have never left with a particularly "special" experience. Some of the food is exceptionally good, but it's a shot in the dark as to what u will get on any given evening/day. Stay away from their Chicken Salads-3 salads over 3 years = 3 chicken bones.........
- Pros: Exceptional Tasting Food Entrees
- Cons: Depends on the day/night/expensive
lackluster
by Camreid at Citysearch
I don't usually write these things but something just has to be said
about this. I was dragged out here by friends again this weekend and
still don't understand why Little Rock can't just let this place die.
Sure, maybe it used to be good but I've not had anything above average
there in the past three years or so. I'm sure it's a real money
making machine for Mark (the drama below w/ him reviewing his own
place is pretty much par for the course, a laughing stock of the town
in many circles) and no doubt he's still fooling a lot of
country-bumpkins who drive in for the weekend but the cut corners
should be blatantly obvious to anyone who eats out often. Lots of
frozen seafood, poorly grilled steaks and more Sysco than a high
school cafeteria, you know the drill. With so many other great
restaurants serving fresh food prepared with pride it would be a shame
to waste a nice evening at this slop-trough. The bar seems to be on a
downturn as well, which is really too bad.
- Pros: good bar on the right nights
- Cons: cheap food priced up way too high
Poor customer service from the hostess
by former01 at Citysearch
We ate at Loca Luna on Saturday night and were disappointed in our experience. The hostess was rude and short in her treatment of us. We did not have silverware or napkins until middle of our appetizers, although the hostess walked over to our table with some in her hand and turned around and walked off. Our waiter had to bring silverware and napkins to us, unrolled, which made him accidentallly drop the napkins in our food. Other than these things, the food was above average and the atmosphere was good, with the exception of the rude hostess. I do hope that she is made aware of her behavoir and asked to improve her treatment of customers, since they are the ones responsible for keeping the restaurant open.
- Pros: Parking was good, abience nice
- Cons: hostess's sour attitude
