We had a horrible experience. When we first got there it was never told to us that if we just sat at the reg. table we could not get all orders from the menu. She only asked if we wanted a table or bar. When the waitress told us that it was only the beginning. We had already had to wait 15min. for the table we got. She said it would then be another 45min. to get a table at the grill. Right at 45 minutes later others were being seat at the grill that had just been cleared. Hour and half later she said I'm sorry it is taking so long I have talked to my manager but we have reservations. If we had been informed at the door that we could only order certain things we could have done eaten and gone when the guests who had made reservations had arrived. There were in no hurry to make amends for the trouble. The excuse from the waitress was we are always busy like this on the weekends. When I worked in restaurant that excuse was not tolerated by my managers. The expensive cost is not worth all that. At the beginning of the fiasco we were saying we'll never go back during the weekend. When we finally left we agreed we will Never be back weekend or not.
Pros: Louisiana rolls were really good, shame we did not get to try anything else
Cons: Services was terrible, there is not enough parking, expensive cheepest thing was $12

I wanted to like Sekisui. There are many seating options, including the traditional "no shoes" tables and the water-boat sushi bar. However, ambiance only goes so far. Although the fish seems fresh, I have eaten at MANY sushi restaurants around the world (including in Japan) and I can say that Sekisui's sushi, although fresh, just doesn't taste good. Service is adequate. Barely. Cool, aloof, Asian servers take your order and bring you what you request. They do not go out of their way to assure that you understand the menu, or get exactly what you want. Bottom line: go elsewhere for sushi. For a business meeting, the atmosphere is moderately impressive. The restaurant is big and offers a wide assortment of seating and menu options. However, the sushi is expensive and not as tasty as others in the area. Look for Igibon, only a few blocks away.
Pros: Variety, Overall appearance
Cons: Taste, Aloof service, Price

A great group place with good food. You can have a good time here with one or ten friends because the food is great (and ample!), the service is impressive, and the ambiance is, well, really cool. There's a sushi bar (of course), regular tables, and the piece de resistance- a raised platform where you and your friends can kick off your shoes and eat Japanese-style. That's right, you sit on these neat cushions on the floor and eat on low tables. A good choice for when you want to have a good time but don't want to go all out.
Pros: good food, low tables, convenient location
